name account or a joint account. If you elect to have your spouse
as your joint member you cannot remove their name unless they agree
to have it removed by signing off the account.
A $6.00 deposit is required to open your account, which purchases
one credit union share in the amount of $5.00 and a $1.00 membership
fee. The $5.00 remains in your account until you with to close it
permanently. We do ask that you keep your account active either
through payroll deduction or regular deposits.
Important Information About Procedures for Opening a New
Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money
laundering activities, Federal Law requires all financial institutions
to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person
who opens an account
What this means to you
When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date
of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.
We will also ask to scan your drivers license or other picture identification
documents for our photo identification program.
Thanks for you understanding and help in this critical effort.
The war on terrorism will be fought on many fronts, and this is
one of them.
